I randomly found this place near my work and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the flank pho and it was delicious — a huge portion with such a flavorful, comforting broth. Definitely one of the best pho spots I’ve tried recently. I’ll be back!

I ordered pho with flank, good quantity and good price! Also they served food very quickly. Just, taste was quite simple(beef doesn't have flavor, soup was also something missing). I've tried better ones before so it was not too bad but not sure if I go again or not.

Tried 🍜 Pho 35 today and the first thing I noticed was how simple and clean the restaurant looks. Nothing overly fancy, just a straightforward spot right in the middle of the city and very easy to find. Prices are also surprisingly friendly for the area, which feels almost suspicious these days. New York usually charges extra just for oxygen near the table. I ordered the beef pho and two tacos. The pho portion was HUGE. Seriously, finishing the whole bowl alone might become a personal challenge for most people. The broth had a very aromatic herbal and spice-heavy flavor, with strong notes of traditional pho spices. You could still smell the beef, but the spices definitely took center stage. The vegetables on the side felt a little small compared to other pho places I’ve tried, and the noodles personally didn’t impress me much. The tacos were interesting because they felt closer to a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich than a typical taco. The sauce inside tasted like a light Vietnamese sweet-and-sour salad dressing, which actually worked better than expected. Different, but enjoyable for the price. We loved it! This was our second time here and it continues to be excellent. We ordered the flank & brisket Pho and tried the meatball Pho; both were delicious. The Thai Iced Tea is very tasty and Bhumi was extremely kind and helpful. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

As someone who grew up eating pho in Sydney, where Vietnamese cuisine is among the strongest outside of Vietnam, I don’t say this lightly. Is this on that level? Not quite. But New York is largely a desert when it comes to truly great Vietnamese food, and Pho 35 is absolutely a worthy contender. The fact that it’s Vietnamese-owned and operated already signals a level of authenticity that’s hard to come by in Midtown. The broth arrived piping hot with solid clarity and a clean, aromatic profile. The portioning is generous, with a properly oversized bowl that delivers that comforting, restorative hit you’re looking for. Protein allocation could be a bit more abundant, but it’s still within acceptable range for the price point. For Midtown, this is a dependable 9/10 pho fix when the craving hits.
